Full Service Training
Are you in a
hurry to get your dog trained?
Do you have a busy, sometime unpredictable schedule?
Do you want your dog to be obedient and have fun while learning?
Our Full Service Program is hands down the fastest, easiest
and least frustrating/stressful way for your dog to learn! A perfect
alternative to the sporadic inconsistent in-home lessons, that interfere
with your schedule. During the Full Service Training your dog will have
the benefit of many fun lessons throughout the day, thought by
highly skilled and understanding teacher. We will design a custom
program for Your dog that will take under consideration the breed, age,
lifestyle and individuality. Your dog will learn at its own comfortable
speed, which will keep the learning exciting and fun. As soon as your
dog grasps the idea of a command (this could be in seconds
sometimes!) we are able to recognize that and move to the next,
keeping the lessons interesting and stimulating for your dog. On another
hand there will be times when your dog will need more time to understand
new command. In these situations patience, time, repetition and variety
of positive approaches will help your dog succeed and maintain its
confidence as he is learning.
If your dog has already established some bad behaviors, removing him/her from it's own familiar environment will absolutely help speed up and accept the new rules in the house.
One of the common
questions about Full Service Training is:
Don't I need to train my dog myself, so it will obey me?
The answer to this question is No, but, at the end of the course we will
teach you how to keep your dog obeying the commands it already knows. We
will have several lesson with you, including at your home if this is
needed. A good analogy is you don't need to know how to build your car
to drive it - same thing with your dog. We'll teach you how to "drive"
your dog after the training is completed.
We love dogs, that's why we do what we do and want to reassure you that
your dog will be treated as one of ours during its stay at The Doghouse,
LLC. How could you tell? By the tail wag of course!

Behavior consultations and advice
In some instances Obedience training is just not enough or not needed at all to curb a behavior problem your dog has developed. The goal during these sessions, is to help you better understand why your dog behaves the way it does. We will teach you how to "think dog" and be bale to correct and control unwanted behavior. Although change of behavior can happen quickly sometimes, we don't believe in "quick fixes". Having completed Solving Canine Behavior Problems at Cornell University and worked as an Animal Behaviorist at San Francisco SPCA comes in use during these sessions.
